POST-DEPLOYMENT HEALTH REASSESSMENTS TO BEGIN!

Our mission is to provide quality health care to our dedicated Service members and help provide peace of mind to you, their dedicated families. That’s why the <insert Service name, e.g., Army> is implementing the Post-Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHRA), a health check for all Service members who have returned home in the past three- to six-months.

Our mission is to provide quality health care to your loved one and your family. We recognize that deployment may have an impact on your loved one’s health and wellbeing. Our commitment is to health programs that successfully safeguard their health. Our goal is to avoid or minimize any negative impact deployment may have had on their health.

In an effort to prevent, identify and treat Service members’ deployment-related health concerns, we are implementing the Post-Deployment Health Reassessment, or PDHRA. The PDHRA represents a significant part of the deployment health continuum of care. This program is an opportunity for Service members to discuss any deployment-related health concerns they may have once they return from deployment.

While Service members will be notified through their commands and required to participate in the PDHRA, families have an important role in encouraging Service members to take advantage of this health check.

You can help by encouraging your loved one to take advantage of the PDHRA program when their unit or commander notifies them that it is time to participate in the program. Remind your loved one that the PDHRA program is another opportunity to take advantage of the health care services provided to them. Encourage them to participate in the program.
